Terms & Conditions

These terms cover your use of GlowPeak, AI-generated results, subscriptions, and your responsibilities.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the GlowPeak mobile application and related services (together, the “Service”) provided by Hanna Paulouskaya (“we,” “us,” or “Service Provider”).

By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with Apple’s mandatory terms, Apple’s terms control to the extent of the conflict.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use GlowPeak. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. License and ownership

We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple’s usage rules.

The Service, including its design, software, text, graphics, routines, trademarks, and original content, is owned by or licensed to the Service Provider and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not:

  • copy, sell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the Service;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code;
  • remove proprietary notices or misrepresent ownership;
  • use automated tools to scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service; or
  • use the Service to build a competing product or dataset.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of photos, text, and other content you submit. You grant us and our service providers a limited license to transmit, process, reproduce, and analyze that content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, and support the Service.

You must have the necessary rights and permissions for everything you upload. Do not submit another person’s face, personal information, or private content without their informed permission.

5. AI-generated content

GlowPeak uses artificial intelligence to analyze photos and text and to generate scores, observations, routines, and recommendations. AI outputs are probabilistic and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation.

  • Do not rely on AI output as a statement of fact.
  • Facial analysis is not identity verification, biometric recognition, or a scientific measurement of attractiveness.
  • Meal analysis may misidentify ingredients, allergens, portion sizes, nutrients, or food-safety risks.
  • You are responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding whether to act on them.

6. Health and wellness disclaimer

GlowPeak is a general wellness tool. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment and is not intended to prevent, treat, cure, or manage any disease or medical condition.

Scores relating to bloating, digestion, inflammation, skin, water retention, nutrition, or facial appearance are estimates. They are not medical tests and should not replace advice from a physician, registered dietitian, mental-health professional, or other qualified provider.

Do not use GlowPeak for emergencies, allergy detection, eating-disorder treatment, or decisions about medication. Seek professional care if you have persistent symptoms, severe pain, swelling, breathing difficulty, signs of an allergic reaction, or concerns about body image or eating behavior.

7. Subscriptions and free trial

Certain features require an auto-renewing GlowPeak Pro subscription. Available plans, billing periods, localized prices, taxes, and renewal terms are shown in the Apple purchase screen before you confirm payment.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed.
  • A monthly plan renews monthly unless canceled. It does not include a free trial unless the Apple purchase screen expressly states otherwise.
  • Eligible new customers may receive a three-day free trial with the annual plan when the offer appears in the Apple purchase screen.
  • At the end of an annual free trial, the subscription automatically renews at the displayed annual price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings or at Apple Subscriptions.
  • Purchases can be restored in GlowPeak using Restore Purchases.
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies and applicable law. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

Trial eligibility is determined by Apple. Each person is generally eligible for only one introductory offer within a subscription group.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
  • upload illegal, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or rights-infringing content;
  • upload content depicting a person without necessary permission;
  • attempt to bypass subscriptions, usage limits, security controls, or content safeguards;
  • interfere with the Service, third-party providers, or other users; or
  • use AI outputs to make high-impact medical, legal, employment, insurance, credit, or identity decisions.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including Apple, RevenueCat, OpenRouter, Google, and Statsig. Your use of their services may be governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, policy changes, or content beyond our reasonable control.

10. Service availability and changes

Some features require internet access and compatible hardware. We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features, content, pricing, or provider integrations. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or compatibility with every device or operating-system version.

You are responsible for carrier charges, internet access, device security, backups, and installing available app updates.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create a security or legal risk, abuse the Service, or where continued operation is no longer commercially reasonable.

Deleting the app does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. You must cancel it through your Apple Account.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Provider will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, health decisions, or reliance on AI outputs arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms when the Service, providers, subscriptions, or legal requirements change. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
